| This exhibition featured bookart, installation, color photographs and a weekly performance series.
These disparate elements revolved around the use and aesthetics of a Pulpit. Each week I put a new monolithic structure into the gallery and performed a fine art sermon from behind it. The art that remained in gallery throughout the month was directly correlative to particular lengths of time and related activities within the practice of preaching (homiletics) or textual interpretation of scripture (hermeneutics). |
